Auburn Shiraz Motel
There is an excellent National Trust brochure titled 'Walk With History at Auburn' which provides a map and lists places of historic interest in the town.
The most interesting include the Auburn Institute and Town Hall, the former site of the Auburn Hotel, birthplace of one of Australia's most loved poets C.J.Dennis, the Courthouse and Police Station Museums, the Rising Sun Hotel and several historic buildings constructed by Joseph Meller.
All the history of Auburn can be taken in with a leisurely stroll through the wonderfully serene township, a walk that will be long remembered.
